Dearest mourners, stargazers, and the 148 who loved Python-Scripts enough to fork and carry a piece of it home with you โ we gather today in the quiet corner of the internet where good intentions go to rest. Python-Scripts was born on a hopeful May afternoon in 2017, the child of ambition and a blank README. The description was modest, almost endearing: a collection of various Python scripts. A humble promise. And for a time, oh, for a time, Python-Scripts delivered. Commits flowed like freshly brewed coffee, each one a small declaration that someone, somewhere, was learning, building, tinkering. We watched the flame burn bright, then flicker, then settle into that long, familiar silence that every side project eventually finds. One open issue sits unanswered still, a small hand raised in a room nobody entered anymore. We do not judge. We have all been that room. Python-Scripts was never archived โ never formally declared finished. And perhaps that is its dignity. It refused the label of abandoned. It simply waited, patient and uncommitted, until September 19th, 2025, when the last commit arrived like a final postcard from a long journey: quiet, unsigned, enough. Three thousand and forty-seven days alive. One hundred and forty-eight forks carrying its code forward like seeds from a wildflower. Python-Scripts was not completed.
It was outgrown, which is something altogether different, and altogether more human. May your scripts run without errors in whatever runtime awaits.
