Dearest mourners, forkers, and the forty-two faithful who saw enough promise in Vetra to carry a piece of it home โ we gather today in the quiet halls of GitHub to say goodbye. Vetra came into this world on January 17th, 2025, arriving with all the hallmarks of something magnificent: Next.js 15, Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion, and a rocket emoji in the description. A rocket emoji, friends. That is the universal language of ambition. For two days โ two days โ Vetra burned with the white-hot intensity of a developer who had just discovered the perfect tech stack on a Friday evening. Commits flew. Components were born. A modern AI marketing automation landing page shimmered into existence, beautiful and full of possibility. And then, on January 19th, Vetra pushed its final commit into the world, took a long breath, and simply... stopped. Perhaps a weekend ended. Perhaps Monday came with its crushing responsibilities. Perhaps the creator looked at the Framer Motion animations and thought, close enough. Two open issues remain unanswered, little questions hanging in the air like unanswered prayers. Five hundred and fifty-one days of silence have followed. Yet forty-two souls forked Vetra's dreams into their own repositories. That code lives on, scattered across the internet in various states of also being abandoned. Vetra was not finished.
Vetra was simply set free. May your bundle sizes be small and your animations run at sixty frames per second, always.
