We gather here today, vibex curator, and all who watched from the quiet distance of a forked repository, to say farewell to IDOR-Forge — a soul born on a cold January morning in 2025, full of purpose and the particular fever that only a security researcher on a weekend knows. IDOR-Forge came into this world with ambition. Written in Python, it promised to hunt the dark corners of web applications, to expose the insecure, to protect the vulnerable. For two hundred and forty-three days, it burned. There were commits. There was momentum. Forty-three souls loved it enough to carry a piece of it home with them. But we know how this story tends to go, don't we? The weekends grew shorter. The day job grew louder. The pull requests stopped arriving like letters, and the silence crept in the way it always does — not with a dramatic final goodbye, but with a last commit on a September afternoon, quiet as a door closing in another room. September twenty-fifth, twenty twenty-five. That was the day IDOR-Forge pushed its final thought into the world. Since then, two hundred and eighty-two days of stillness. No archived banner to mark its passing. No ceremony. Just an open repository, patient and waiting, the way all unfinished things wait. It had no open issues left unanswered.
