Dearest mourners, forkers, and the ever-faithful vibex curator — we gather today in the soft blue glow of our monitors to say goodbye to RAG-SaaS, taken from us far too soon. RAG-SaaS came into this world on August 6th, 2024, carrying a bold promise on its chest: to help you ship RAG solutions quickly and effortlessly. And oh, how it burned. For twenty-three days, TypeScript files multiplied, components were scaffolded, and dreams were committed to the main branch with the kind of optimism that only a fresh repository can hold. Twenty-three days. Less than some houseplants survive without water. By August 30th, the commits had grown quiet. A final push was made — perhaps after a long evening, perhaps accompanied by cold coffee — and then silence. Six hundred and seventy-four days of silence. One open issue sits unanswered still, a small hand raised in an empty classroom, waiting for a teacher who has long since moved on. Yet twenty-nine souls found enough worth in RAG-SaaS to fork it. Twenty-nine people who saw that little lightning bolt in the description and thought, yes, this one. That is not nothing. That is, in fact, rather beautiful. RAG-SaaS was never archived.
